Funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Healthy Beginnings Plusis a program for pregnant women who are income eligible. Duringpregnancy income eligibility increases to 185% above FederalPoverty Guidelines. Services provided by the program include:- medical care provided by a doctor or nurse midwife- pre-natal education by a nurse educator- assistance of a special counselor- nutrition instruction- childbirth education- parenting and baby tips classes- breastfeeding classes- smoking cessation programs- access to dental care through affiliation with Welsh MountainDental ClinicProgram site:Medical office building adjacent to the main hospital (LowerLevel-Suite 157)
