Grateful veteran

A word of thanks to the lady at Kroger who paid for our groceries at the checkout.

We had just finished a flag education class at one of our area schools and picked up some needed groceries. My husband was in his Army greens. The lady was behind us and told the cashier to put our amount on her card.

This is one very grateful veteran. We never got her name, but may Gd bless her for her kindness.
